About

Hi, I’m Emily.

An intuitive, creative, and detail-oriented oncology certified advanced esthetician (CAE), laser tech and safety officer (LSO), and make up artist who has cultivated a life-long appreciation and passion for science, art, make up artistry, and skincare while growing up across the U.S. and abroad.

Currently immersed in continued studies ranging from nursing, public health, science-based herbalism, to other languages, oncology esthetics, and more.

I now combine my love of artistry, science, and clinical expertise to enable my clients to look and feel more comfortable in their one-of-a-kind skin — as well as how to best care for the body’s largest organ. Additionally, my background enables me to formulate well-rounded and comprehensive approaches for both skincare and make up artistry interchangeably.

As someone with very dry, sensitive, and reactive skin throughout my life, finding methods and especially product ingredients that are effective, versatile, and actually work for my skin has become vital in how I approach beauty and wellness for both myself and my clients. Understanding that a healthy skin barrier function lays the groundwork for getting the most out of more advanced treatments (as well as make up application where applicable) and knowing when to bring in the lasers, wound healing tech, electrotherapies, and other advanced techniques is equally as important.

Nothing is a silver bullet, combining different kinds of therapies and methods is vital.

Licensed in multiple states (Oregon, New York, soon to be Washington, respectively), I am a small business owner and the sole practitioner of Felix Skin Lab, which came to be in 2021. I sincerely appreciate each client that chooses and trusts me with their skincare journey.

In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, swimming, live music, reading, stand up comedy, travel, running, and spending quality time with loved ones and animals.

Formally certified through Circadia’s internationally recognized program as an Oncology Skin Specialist.

Providing compassionate care while understanding how cancer treatments and medications interplay with skin health allows the work I do through Felix Skin Lab to support clients through their cancer journey and provide the essentials of oncology skincare.

Philosophy

In The Treatment Room

In a world of purported quick-fixes, relentlessly airbrushed advertising, endless social media filters, and regular everyday stresses, the core belief that nothing is inherently “wrong” with your body is something that has become increasingly important clarify in the beauty and skincare industries, respectfully.

At Home
